Evening Calm | Lavender & Chamomile Aromatherapy Roll-On

This lip balm came to life because of a fallen tree.

A few months ago, we took down an old hollow tree on our homestead and discovered it was home to a colony of tree bees. We were able to rescue some of their beautiful beeswax, using much of it to wax new hive frames for our own apiary. The remaining wax was too special to let go to waste, so it became the inspiration for this small-batch lip balm.

Combined with grass-fed beef tallow and my own slow-infused botanical oils—carefully infused for weeks with calendula and chamomile at low temperatures to preserve their natural goodness—this balm glides on smoothly and helps protect dry, weathered lips without feeling heavy or waxy.

Made with simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients and a connection to our homestead, it’s the kind of everyday product I reach for myself.

Ingredients: Grass-fed beef tallow, beeswax, calendula-infused jojoba oil, chamomile-infused jojoba oil, vitamin E, rosemary oleoresin extract (ROE).

Small batch. Handcrafted on our Texas homestead.

Made with Fair Trade Organic Cocoa: Skip the long ingredient list and bake brownies you can feel good about serving. Our small-batch brownie mix is made with simple, recognizable ingredients—no preservatives, no artificial flavors, no anti-caking agents, and no unnecessary fillers.

We start with organic flour, organic cane sugar, premium cocoa powder, real vanilla bean powder, a hint of cinnamon, and our signature dehydrated sourdough starter, made from nothing more than organic flour and filtered water. The result is an intensely chocolatey brownie with a rich, fudgy center, crisp crackly top, and just enough depth from the sourdough to make people ask for the recipe.

Just add butter and eggs, stir, and bake. In under 30 minutes you’ll have a pan of homemade brownies that taste like they came from scratch—because they’re made with the same quality ingredients you’d use in your own kitchen.

Perfect for gifting, keeping in the pantry for chocolate emergencies, or serving warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

What you’ll need: 2 eggs, ½ cup butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional).

Makes: One 9×9-inch pan of rich, fudgy brownies.

Sourdough Fudgy Brownie Mix

Unlike many commercial pancake mixes, ours isn’t packed with preservatives, artificial flavors, anti-caking agents, or unnecessary fillers. Just simple, wholesome ingredients that let real flavor shine.

The sourdough starter adds a subtle depth of flavor while producing pancakes that are light, fluffy, and perfectly tender with golden edges. Simply add milk, an egg, and butter for a homemade breakfast that’s every bit as comforting as it is delicious.

Serve with warm maple syrup, fresh berries, whipped butter, or your favorite fruit preserves for a breakfast worth slowing down for.

Makes: Approximately two family-sized batches of pancakes (about 16–20 pancakes, depending on size).

This recipe comes straight from my dad’s kitchen and has been a family favorite for years. Inspired by the rich, creamy ranch served at our favorite steakhouse, he spent years perfecting this dill-forward blend until everyone agreed he had nailed it.

Made with real herbs and spices, this isn’t your average ranch packet. It’s bold, creamy, and packed with fresh herb flavor.

When our garden is in season, we harvest and dry our own dill and other herbs right here on the farm, incorporating them into our small-batch mixes whenever possible for an even fresher taste.

Just add buttermilk and mayonnaise to create restaurant-quality ranch that’s perfect for salads, vegetables, pizza, wings, fries, and as a dip for just about everything.

Simple ingredients. Family recipe. Steakhouse-worthy flavor.
