This lip balm came to life because of a fallen tree. A few months ago, we took down an old hollow tree on our homestead and discovered it was home to a colony of tree bees. We were able to rescue some of their beautiful beeswax, using much of it to wax new hive frames for our own apiary. The remaining wax was too special to let go to waste, so it became the inspiration for this small-batch lip balm. Combined with grass-fed beef tallow and my own slow-infused botanical oils—carefully infused for weeks with calendula and chamomile at low temperatures to preserve their natural goodness—this balm glides on smoothly and helps protect dry, weathered lips without feeling heavy or waxy. Made with simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients and a connection to our homestead, it’s the kind of everyday product I reach for myself. Ingredients: Grass-fed beef tallow, beeswax, calendula-infused jojoba oil, chamomile-infused jojoba oil, vitamin E, rosemary oleoresin extract (ROE). Small batch. Handcrafted on our Texas homestead.
