Lavender hydrosol is a versatile product derived from the steam distillation of lavender essential oil. It retains many beneficial properties of the lavender plant and has a milder aroma compared to essential oil. Here are some of the best uses for lavender hydrosol.

1. Skin Soothing 
In the world of aroma therapy, lavender has always been known to soothe and calm. It is excellent in soothing skin irritations and allergies such as poison ivy, rashes and bug bites. What makes lavender hydrosol special is that it’s the best option to soothe skin if you’re allergic to lavender oil.
2. Sedative 
The scent of lavender has proven to have strong sedative and relaxant properties. It calms nerves, soothes a tired mind and induces a deep and restful sleep.
3. Antidepressant 
While soothing nerves and relaxing the mind, lavender also dispels negativity and fights depression. Place lavender hydrosol in your non-plastic diffuser and let it run for at least 15 minutes every day while you meditate.
4. Cleansing

DeCicco is a cut and come again broccoli that starts out with a medium sized head. It continues to produce side shoots and that are perfect size to throw straight into the steamer! The leaves are tender and reminiscent of collard greens.

Spiced Elderberry Jam

These eggs are smaller than a chicken egg, but they boast up to 3x as many nutrients per oz (including protein), which is partly due to the Guinea’s amazing foraging abilities. They prefer fresh plant and bugs, and often snub dry feed when there is fresh stuff available.

This jam was made with our own ripe, non-sprayed strawberries and rhubarb. The thickener used was non-GMO modified corn starch, which means it can also be used as a filling for hand pies or pop tarts. DISCOUNTED DUE TO SOME SEPARATION, STIR BEFORE USING. Separation does not affect the flavor.
