Funky Hollow Farm

Stephanie

The ultimate prized staple for bakers and homestead artisans alike. Leaf fat is a dense, clean fat gathered from around the kidneys, vastly different from standard back fat. Because our pigs forage freely on open pasture, their fat carries a clean profile that renders down into a pure, odorless, snow-white lard. Whether you are aiming for tender, melt-in-your-mouth pastry crusts or crafting deeply moisturizing, traditional skincare balms and soaps, this versatile farm-raised fat is the gold standard.
