WHAT IS LAVENDER HYDROSOL?

Lavender hydrosol is a versatile product derived from the steam distillation of lavender essential oil. It retains many beneficial properties of the lavender plant and has a milder aroma compared to essential oil. Here are some of the best uses for lavender hydrosol.
Common Uses:
Skin Care
hydrating and soothing the skin after cleansing.
After-Shave: Reduces redness and irritation post-shaving.
Soothing Spray: Provides relief for rashes, sunburns, and minor skin irritations.
Home and Environment
Air Freshener: A natural alternative to commercial air fresheners, deodorizing spaces without harmful chemicals.
House Cleaning: Serves as a gentle disinfectant for surfaces, leaving a pleasant scent.
Linen Spray: Refreshes bedding and linens, promoting a calming atmosphere.
Personal Care
Hair Rinse: Can be used to lightly mist hair before styling, adding moisture and fragrance.
Aromatherapy: Used in baths or as a body mist for relaxation and stress relief.
Pet Care
Coat Spray: Safe for use on pets, helping to soothe skin irritations and freshen their coat.

BENEFITS OF LAVENDER HYDROSOL
1. Skin Soothing
In the world of aroma therapy, lavender has always been known to soothe and calm. It is excellent in soothing skin irritations and allergies such as poison ivy, rashes and bug bites. What makes lavender hydrosol special is that it’s the best option to soothe skin if you’re allergic to lavender oil.
2. Sedative
The scent of lavender has proven to have strong sedative and relaxant properties. It calms nerves, soothes a tired mind and induces a deep and restful sleep.
3. Antidepressant
While soothing nerves and relaxing the mind, lavender also dispels negativity and fights depression. Place lavender hydrosol in your non-plastic diffuser and let it run for at least 15 minutes every day while you meditate.
4. Cleansing
Did you know that the word lavender comes from the Latin word lavare which means to clean? Yup! And lavender is indeed cleansing in nature. Use it to wipe surfaces and clean dusty furniture using a microfiber cloth. Also use it as a facial cleanser and toner.
5. Antibacterial
Lavender oil is antibacterial in nature, and so is its hydrosol. It fights all kinds of strains of bacteria and can be used on acne, irritated skin, skin infections and more.
6. Anti-inflammatory
Lavender anti-inflammatory properties are good for reducing inflammation and redness. Its particularly good for rosacea, eczema, acne, bug bites, skin rashes, sunburn, psoriasis and other inflammatory conditions.
7. For Sensitive Skin
Lavender oil is considered safe to use for sensitive skin but lavender hydrosol is even safer. You can use it without any problems on babies’ skin as well – just make sure it’s 100% pure and organic.
8. Relieves Irritated Skin
For bug bites, skin rashes, hives, red blotchy skin – use lavender hydrosol! Spray it directly on affected skin or pour 2 cups in a warm bath.
9. Anti-Aging
Lavender hydrosol can be used as a facial toner for tightening sagging skin and smoothing out fine lines. 10. Pet Grooming
Spray lavender hydrosol on your pet’s furs and ears before brushing to get rid of pet odor, prevent fleas and make it’s fur healthy.
11. Linen Refresher
Mist lavender hydrosol on freshly washed linen, sheets and clothes for a fresh clean and subtle lavender fragrance.
