As a hair sheep they do not produce the lanolin that makes the meat gamier and fattier. Hair sheep have a less "muttony" taste. We believe in happy healthy animals who are never exposed to chemicals like herbacides, pesticides and commercial fertilizers. Better feed equals healthier animals and produces a Chem Free product. Our meat is processed and inspected according to USDA requirements.
