Final prices are determined by the final hanging weight taken by the butcher at one of our local abattoirs. After the animal is weighed at the processing facility the seller will charge the final cost of the product minus the deposit. All processing fees are included in the purchase price detailed above. We require that a $600 deposit be paid prior to delivery to the facility. The purchaser will receive a receipt for the ending balance.

Prior to having the beef processed you will receive a email or call from Idle Wind Farms about the process to guide you through the cut sheet based on your cut preferences you would like to receive. (Eg. Roasts, steaks, stew meat, spareribs, brisket, steaks and thickness). All cuts will be vacuumed packed. We recommend bringing 4-5 coolers for your drive home.

The livestock are raised on pasture rotational grazing and finished with a balanced diet of grain and hay. All animals are antibiotic-free and vaccinated for the health of the animal.
