At Grassland Ranch, we believe healthy food begins with healthy animals living in a healthy environment. Our pasture raised chickens are given the opportunity to spend their days outdoors, moving across pasture, experiencing sunlight and fresh air and living in environment that allows them to express their natural behaviors. We believe this intentional way of raising animals matters. It is part of our commitment to produce food with care while creating a healthier relationship between the Animal, the Land and the people who enjoy the food, a whole chicken brings both nourishment and versatility to the kitchen, roast it slowly with fresh herbs and vegetables, grill it for a family gathering, or use the bones to create a rich flavorful stock for us pasture raised is about more than a label. It’s about giving animals a natural environment, caring for the land that supports them, and producing food we can feel good about bringing to our own table as well as our neighbors.
