Welcome to Feather & Hoof Homestead, a small family homestead in Augusta, Georgia where animals, kids, and nature are all part of daily life. Our homestead began with a simple goal: to raise happy, healthy animals and provide fresh food for our family and community. Today our days revolve around caring for our flock of chickens and ducks, tending to our goats, and enjoying the rhythm of homestead life right here in our backyard. We believe good food starts with well-cared-for animals and thoughtful stewardship of the land. Our birds spend their days foraging, scratching, and exploring, which results in rich, flavorful eggs we’re proud to share with neighbors. Feather & Hoof Homestead is a family-run homestead, and our kids are just as involved in the daily chores as we are—collecting eggs, helping feed the animals, and learning where food really comes from. Whether you’re picking up a dozen eggs or simply following along with our homestead journey, we’re grateful to share a little piece of our backyard with the Augusta community.
