Heat Induced Production Drop! We expect to have a bountiful egg supply in the fall and it shouldn’t be so competitive to snag some eggs with your order. 

Our hens forage happily & freely under a canopy of pecan trees. Their primary food source is natures buffet. They receive table scraps & limited amounts of commercial organic feed. Where possible, we are non-GMO and limit corn & soy exposure. 

Occasionally we sell eggs for other producers on a consignment basis. Their feeding practices may vary. If you have specific dietary needs please communicate that in your order notes so we can ensure you receive the appropriate product.

This lip balm came to life because of a fallen tree.

A few months ago, we took down an old hollow tree on our homestead and discovered it was home to a colony of tree bees. We were able to rescue some of their beautiful beeswax, using much of it to wax new hive frames for our own apiary. The remaining wax was too special to let go to waste, so it became the inspiration for this small-batch lip balm.

Combined with grass-fed beef tallow and my own slow-infused botanical oils—carefully infused for weeks with calendula and chamomile at low temperatures to preserve their natural goodness—this balm glides on smoothly and helps protect dry, weathered lips without feeling heavy or waxy.

Made with simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients and a connection to our homestead, it’s the kind of everyday product I reach for myself.
