Welcome to our farm in Murphy, North Carolina. We’re a family-owned and operated beef farm, and our mission is simple: to raise high-quality beef with care, integrity, and pride. What started as a way to provide wholesome food for our own family has grown into a small farm business we’re honored to share with yours. We believe in treating our animals right and building real relationships with the families who put our beef on their tables. Our farm name, Double D, comes from our grandsons, Dax and Deacon. After they were born, we felt inspired to turn what we loved doing into something we could pass down to them. We’ve since welcomed a third grandson, Lawson, and we look forward to having him out in the pasture just like the others. Including our children and grandchildren in daily farm life is one of our greatest joys. We offer both grass-fed/grass-finished beef and grass-fed/grain-finished beef. Our grass-fed cattle are raised entirely on pasture and hay. For those who prefer more marbling, our grain-finished cattle are pasture-raised and fed grain for four months before processing. We’re proud to provide beef we serve to our own family—flavor you can trust and values you can stand behind.
