At Scio Farms, we bring you farm fresh meats and microgreens that have all been sustainably raised. Enjoy our grass fed meats, lamb, beef and chicken, direct from our family farm. What we believe food should be at Scio Farms: Clean: We do not modify or preserve any of our products on our farm. We believe there is a holistic solution to any problem and we can accomplish our goals while being environmentally conscious. Wholesome: Our farm is family-owned and family-operated. We believe in serving your family the way we serve ours. Clean food with high quality standards. No commercial hormones, dyes, or additives. Honest: We operate and manage 221 acres in the Willamette Valley in Scio, Oregon. We are registered Katahdin hair sheep breeders and producers and also raise Angus beef. We are honest producers that use natural alternatives in agriculture to maintain the integrity of the land we plan to pass down to our children.

We visited Scio Farms LLC to purchase one of their bundle products containing a whole chicken, ground lamb, two varieties of microgreens and farm fresh eggs. All of the items were well prepared and impeccably packaged. The lamb is the best we have ever tasted, as others have commented it is mild, but delicious, carrying a nice flavor. Our other favorite from the bundle were the microgreens, which added a bright and fresh element to salads and sandwiches throughout the week after we purchased them.

Extremely high quality lamb! We bought a whole lamb and have worked our way through a few cuts and I haven't been disappointed yet. I highly recommend even for those who think they don't like lamb - they just haven't had lamb like this before! None of that "gamey" or "lamby" flavor or smell you may associate with lamb. The microgreens are also extremely fresh and a delicious addition to salads and sandwiches.
