Rafter W Ranch, LLC. Colorado Pastured Food: Healthy Land, Healthy Food, Healthy Families. We are a small family Ranch located in Simla, Colorado and serving Eastern Colorado. We currently raise pastured Angus beef steers with only what nature provides during spring, summer and fall, and grass hay out on pasture during winter. No vaccinations, no antibiotics, no hormones, no grain. Our goal is to rebuild the soil by Mob-grazing methods to sequester carbon back into the earth. We use low-stress handling techniques to ensure tender meat. In order to produce sweet meat, we move our animals during the growing season 1 to 2 times per day to fresh new grass. We also offer pastured eggs, when available, from the chickens we run behind the cattle. We are members of the Weston A Price Foundation (WAPF), Audubon ceritifed producer and certified producers for the American Grassfed Association (AGA).

The best tasting ground beef I've ever had! The quality of this beef and the beef bone broth I got from Rafter W Ranch made my chili so delicious I had to share it with friends. They agreed the chili was delicious, and I know it was the grass fed beef that made all the difference. I was thrilled to discover they also sell pastured eggs, and have not been disappointed with the freshness and quality of these healthy eggs. I stayed away from eating beef for years before trying the grass fed beef from Rafter W Ranch, sticking mainly to chicken and fish, but now that I've tasted the difference in grass fed beef over regular, store bought ground beef, I plan to try it in several more recipes. The quality of the products and the helpfulness of Lisa and the friendly staff at Rafter W Ranch have converted me into a regular customer, and made me a beef consumer again. If you have been thinking about trying grass fed beef, you won't find anything better than Rafter W Ranch. I highly recommend them.

We have been Rafter W Ranch customers for a few years now, and we couldn't be happier. The Wheelers are genuine, caring people who are doing all the right things for the planet, people and animals. The beef and eggs are amazing but the broilers are simply out of this world! Looking forward to many more years of healthy food from this beautiful ranch and great family.
