Nettle Valley Farm is a 70 acre farm in Spring Grove, MN. Our mission is to raise the best pastured pork possible, increase the resilience and biodiversity of the land we steward, be good neighbors, and pay it forward whenever we can. Dayna Burtness farms full time and does most of the day to day farm management and livestock care. Dayna grew up near the Twin Cities but is actually part of the the 6th generation in her family to farm in Houston County, MN. Nick Nguyen is Dayna's right hand man and does many of the crucial yet under-appreciated tasks central to farming, such as accounting, bookkeeping, and cooking, all on top of his full time off farm job. This is real pork. So exceptionally delicious, tender, juicy, and all the right things. Our first season buying from Nettle Valley and very impressed. Our kid loves it too. Dayna and Nick do an amazing job caring for their livestock and you can taste it in every bite. Thank you Dayna and Nick for being exemplary farmers!

This is our THIRD year ordering pork from this AMAZING farm. Dayna and Nick share updates on the progress of the "Piggos" as they are pampered during the summer with acorns, apples, pumpkins and all good things. This attention to the health and welfare of the livestock in their care provides delicious and wholesome pork for our family table. It also feels good to know where your food comes from. I highly recommend.
