We are the Smith family! My name is Kayla and my husband is Zach and we are first generation farmers. We have two children, Jackson and Eleanor, who love helping with the daily tasks of everyday farm life. Along with our two dogs Cocoa and Riley. Mapledale Meats was established in 2013 when we first bought our farm in Elizabethtown, PA. We started with only four calves and we now have a growing herd of 20 cows. It all started with us wanting to provide quality food for both our family and friends. In the beginning, we both worked full time jobs while also managing the daily life of caring for our farm. Zach continues with his full time job and I am at home with the kids, putting my main focus on growing and managing Mapledale Meats. We are proud of how our farm has evolved in these short 7 years. All of our beef is grown on our property from birth until they are ready to be processed. We have two bull’s that we use to breed. Apollo is a Murray Grey and Toad is a Red Simmental. Toad has been with us since he was only a few days old. We bottle fed him as a calf and he is now very friendly and loves being around people.

Found them by accident at the farmers market. Decided to give them a try and I have been hooked ever since. Their meat and eggs taste better than any store bought and I'm happy to support local businesses. Leanest best tasting burgers, any my grandchildren love the breakfast sausage. I'm definitely a repeat customer

Love, love, love Mapledale Meats. Their products are 100 x better than store-bought meats! Started buying at the Palmyra Farmer's Market, and then continued to buy their products after the season ended - and they even deliver! (Thanks Kayla! 😉 The pork chops are AMAZING! Some of our favorites include the pork chops, New York Strip Steaks, the Chipotle Beef Sticks, the hamburger, and their breakfast sausages. There hasn't been one product that we haven't loved! We have tried many other local, farm-raised meats and butcher shops in the past, but the products from Mapledale Meats are superior! We couldn't be more pleased and it's great to be able to support a local business, and KNOW where your meat is coming from! 😋
