Our eggs (one dozen) from our hens that are raised on pasture and supplemented with NON-GMO grains. Our hens live lives where they are free to roam, hunt for bugs, dust bathe and nap in the sunshine. And the taste reflects their happiness. The yolks are a buttery, vibrant, yellow-orange. They are nutrient dense and packed with flavor! During the season, the shelters are moved daily to fresh grass.

In the Vermont winter months, we bring pasture to them in their greenhouses and feed out hay in addition to their grain. Bedding of peat moss provides a warm and clean base for them to roam in plenty of space.

As part of our Partner Network, we proudly offer grass fed beef from our friends Justin and Rachel at Almanack Farm in Chelsea, Vermont. They practice rotational grazing, where animals are moved frequently to new forage. Good pasture management results in healthy animals, healthy land, and flavorful, high-quality meat. And because they regularly handle their cattle, the herd is docile and content.

Maple wind farm owners and staff are extremely caring and the quality of food they offer reflects that. Many people shy away from sharing the food production process but they are open and transparent. The animals are well cared for and I so much appreciate having maple wind available. This is our thanksgiving turkey and it was superb. So much gratitude.
