Sutton Ridge Farm is recognized by the state of Minnesota as a Century Farm. From its earliest recorded homesteading in 1856, this 80-acre tract of nutrient-rich soil continues to be a fertile seed bed for the very basics of life for man, animal and plant. The Jensen’s (proprietors and operators) established Sutton Ridge as a working farm that showcases many of the traditional farming practices, from rotational grazing, crop diversity and integrated, multi-species animal husbandry. This approach helps to ensure good health for the animals and the land. We are home to a diverse group of unique farm animals that allow us to grow and raise high-quality food and beautiful, natural fibers for textiles, crafting and art.

Great meat, great people and you get to support local farmers. We love their honey, too!

Best grass-fed beef I’ve ever had, and now the only beef I buy. If you care about your health, the taste of your food, the environment, and the humane treatment of the animals local, grass-fed beef such as Sutton Ridge Farm is the only way to buy. The process to buy is easy and seamless and Jennifer and Mark are both extremely kind and easy to work with. The passion they have for their animals and traditional, regenerative farming shines through in any conversation with them as well as the products you buy from the farm. We could all use more sunshine, local grass-fed meat, and joy in our life and the farm captures all of these in any visit there.
