Homestead Hollow Farm
Homestead Hollow Farm originated with great parents; Granny and Poppy Sams. Although the farm didn't have a name back then, it's where its roots were firmly established. Granny and Poppy always kept a milk cow and goat on hand to have fresh milk and homemade butter. They also raised beef cattle, chickens, and hogs that were used to fill the freezers with fresh, high-quality protein. The Sams also always grew a huge garden where they canned everything produced. They could almost completely sustain themselves and their extended family straight from the very farm we raise our products on today. At Homestead Hollow Farm we want to provide our customers with the same fresh, high-quality proteins that are raised in the same way they were raised on family farms for generations in the past. We want our cattle, chickens, and other protein sources we plan to expand into to be raised in the same way they were in the past. Our cattle are grass and hay fed on pasture where they can live the way cattle were meant to. Our eggs all come from free-range chickens that in turn yield eggs that are rich and very dark yolked. We do offer minimal feed to cattle just for ease of handling but our cattle are almost entirely grass and hay-fed and always hormone and antibiotic free. Our number one goal at Homestead Hollow Farm is to provide the very best product we can to you the customer. Everyone deserves to know where their food comes from and that it was produced ethically and in a humane way. We plan to grow the farm to include pork in the near future as well as some other products. We ask that you give us a try, we are sure you won't be disappointed. Again, you and your family deserve to know where your food comes from.
