Healthy, certified organic and pastured poultry comes your way directly from Hepatica Farm. Our chickens live outdoors on fresh grass, inhale clean air and bathe in sunlight. To reduce impact on the climate, feed is locally sourced (Hudson Valley). We farmers, Arthur Kraamwinkel and Melanie Seserman, love our farm and love the food we raise. We want to do what's right for Nature and for our planet, in the process producing high-quality, tasty food that is good for you and your family. Our Story Its a long story! In our case, it’s the story of a little boy growing up in a city while longing to be a farmer and finally, together with the love of his life, buying a farm. It’s the story of hope, tears, fears, excitement, failure, success, care and love for our Earth. It’s the story of animals and plants, allowed to be themselves, being asked “how can I make you thrive today?” It’s the story of children coming to visit the animals, of walks in flower-filled fields with beautiful views, of getting cold in the snow and then having hot cocoa. It’s a story of honesty and wanting to provide you with a nourishing experience.
