Hello! My name is Tiffany, owner/operator of Freeland Farms & Apiary as well as Backyard Butchery, a mobile butchering service. Freeland Farms was established in 2011 with the vision of creating the happiest & healthiest livestock, reflected in the quality of our meats. 🥓🥩 In 2022, I opened Backyard Butchery to allow us to butcher livestock completely on-farm, providing a stress-free experience for both the animals, and us. All of our livestock are born, raised, & processed here at Freeland Farms. As both the farmer & the butcher, you can be sure that every animal is processed with the utmost care & utilization of the whole animal. What we sell: grass fed & finished beef, pastured pork, & free range turkeys for Thanksgiving. What we raise: registered UK Gloucestershire Old Spots, registered purebred Shorthorn cattle, & a variety of heritage breed turkeys. We choose to breed for conservation as well as quality! At Freeland Farms, we believe you are what you eat - which means, you are what you eat eats. This means we work extra hard to provide every animal with a species-appropriate diet of whole foods in lieu of bagged feeds full of junk! Healthier animals = healthier meat = healthier consumers! 🙂 * Side note: We also provide a relocation service for honey bees & host beekeeping & butchering classes throughout the year.
