Nonrefundable deposit for a whole beef share. Average Total Cost: $6500-$7500. When you purchase a whole steer, youβre getting a full share of premium, 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef β custom cut, vacuum-sealed, and frozen for your freezer. Every steer is unique, but you can expect roughly 450-520 lbs of packaged beef once itβs cut, trimmed, and packaged.
