Fair Valley Farm is a multi-species, pasture-based farm located in the beautiful Willamette Valley just west of Eugene, OR. We raise pastured poultry and pork, and grass-fed beef and lamb. We are committed to raising food that is a fairer choice – for the mind, body and soil. We hope that our food will bring peace of mind to consumers who are concerned about the state of our current food system. Our food is raised in a responsible way, which is respectful to both the animals and land, and supports the local Oregon economy while doing so. Our food is better for the body – pasture-raised food is healthier and more nutritious. Our animals get a healthier diet and more exercise such that they are leaner and lower in fat than conventional choices. The fat that they do have is higher in Omega 3s, and the meat is higher in antioxidants and vitamins. Furthermore, they are not treated with antibiotics, hormones or other drugs. Lastly, our food is not only better for the environment but in fact improves the land. Grass-based farming uses less fossil fuels, decreases tillage and returns natural fertility to the soil.
