He would plant a row of zinnias with his garden every year to attract the bees. My mom grew up visiting his garden every summer. I've grown up growing zinnias with my mom & have always enjoyed gardening. Now that I'm a young adult, I wanted to start my own small business & naturally decided to grow zinnias & have since added sunflowers, cosmos & herbs. I will be adding more cut flowers next year.
