September 16, 2026It has been a pleasure to work with Scott & Sam over the last 7+ months of my herdshare. They are responsive to email, and great people to get to know. Bull City Farm has the best raw milk I've found. They milk the cows the same day that I pick up, and so it is incredibly fresh. The flavor is creamy and delicious, and it tends to last longer in the fridge than milk I've received from other farms (after 1 week it is still just as sweet as Day 1!!) I am so glad to support a local business that is doing good, honest hard work, raising cattle the right way! It is true that there is less cream in the winter vs the summer, but that's a natural part of the cow's/earth's cycle, when you're benefiting from cows that are actually free ranging and pasture fed during the leaner months of winter. And I will tell you, during the summer there is a lot of cream! But don't just take my word for it, look at the photo attached here! I love picking up at the farm and seeing the cheerful brown cows in their field. Sam and Scott, thank you for providing raw milk, a very special product that is hard to find. I know the work you do is a labor of love!

Bull City Farm is the best! Samantha is the most friendly and informative farmer. I can’t say enough nice things about this farm. The eggs are fresh and the yolks a brilliant orange! We buy our fresh turkey from them every year, and it’s THE BEST turkey we have ever had! We’ve also had her pork chops which are excellent as well. Don’t wait..but it from them now!!

Sam, Scott and family are the best! The milk is super creamy! Most weeks we skim off the cream and turn it into soft butter and buttermilk for buttered buttermilk pancakes, whipped cream for fruit sandwich, or ice cream. Even after skimming off the super thick cream top, it is still really creamy. Other weeks we down it as super creamy milk before the cream has a chance to float to the top. The milk is nice to drink on itself, otherwise it gets downed with cereal or made into a smoothie or a yogurt. Cheesemaking is a little difficult but Sam holds classes. The eggs are really fresh and the yolks are golden. My toddler and I fight over the different colors and shapes everyday. We always look forward to Wednesday because of the fresh milk and eggs. We are excited to try the mangalitsa soon. Thank you!!!
