Bar X Bar is a family-owned and operated cattle ranch, homesteaded by our family in 1879. Our cow’s consist of Full Blood Wagyu, Registered Angus and Commercial Angus cross, bred to our Full blood Wagyu bulls and Registered Angus bulls. Our cow-calf operation is unique with the ability to utilize our farmland located on our ranch. Our cattle are not confined on the farm as they are able to free-range graze from irrigated pasture to natural pasture as they choose. We allow our calves to stay with their mothers until they reach over 500 lbs and after weaning, the calves are moved onto our five-section pasture that includes our 300-acres of irrigated pastures. They are able to graze free until they reach their marketing weight.
